Group A comprises of the hosts Brazil, Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon. I cannot see past Brazil topping the group here but the battle for the runners up spot should make for an interesting climax. I personally would favour the Mexicans to come out on top for the runners up spot here, with conditons more to suit than the Croatians. Croatia had to qualify through the play offs to make the World Cup so didnt exactly qualify in style although I wouldnt expect them to just roll over. Cameroon on the face of it have their work cut out to qualify from this pretty tough group, although if they could re-kindle some of that 1990 World Cup sparkle anything is possible in football.

Mexico- Javier Hernandez - We know all about him from the Premier League but think he can be a handful in this tournament
Croatia - Luka Modric - Can pull the strings in Croatias bid to qualify from the group
Cameroon - Stephane Mbia - Found his best form at Sevilla after a torrid time at QPR. Capable if continuing his good run of form

Hi guys, just a little England song from the past to enjoy!
The World Cup isnt a million miles away now and I am looking forward to it immensely. I dont think England will do very well but I hope youngsters like Barkley Sterling Townsend and Henderson get the chance to gain vital experience in a massive tounament. Lets try and get ourselves into World Cup mode and give ourselves some feel good moments from yesteryear in this pre tournament appetiser!
